With over six acres to explore right on the property of Beach Haven House, you will have a wide choice of ways to spend your time, from relaxing on the deck with a book to more active pursuits such as ocean swimming and beach combing.

It's a dream location for photographers and other artists.

An organic vegetable and herb garden, a lily pond, flower beds and closed cropped lawns are available close to the house.

An all-but-deserted world class white sand beach is a two minute stroll down our private lane.

Beach Haven House is a peaceful retreat so far from the rush of urban life, and yet all of the amenities of the big city are so close, if you chose.

A scenic and easy 15 minute drive from the excellent restaurants, museums and shops of the charming village of Liverpool, home of the privateers and world famous photographer, Sherman Hines.

Two large full service grocery stores are found in Liverpool, daily grocery needs are found even closer in village shops.

The beaches and villages of the South Shore, including Lunenburg, a UNESCO world heritage site, are just moments away.

Experience a step back in time with the warm hospitality, unique shops (antiques, artisans, crafts, farm markets, quilts and hand hooked rugs, reserves, quality new-to-you clothing), fishing wharves, restaurants (from down-home to gourmet dinning), historic churches and museums of seaside villages such as Port Medway, Lockeport, Mahone Bay, Mill Village.

Halifax, with the world's second deepest natural harbour, is a cosmopolitain center, with a wide array of restaurants, world class museums and shopping, and is about a 1.5 hour drive away.
