We are delighted to offer you our glorious Shore Haven (four star luxury house) and Beach Heaven* Cottages (3, two-bedroom cottages), a private retreat with 60 acres of beauty and tranquility and over 1000 feet of beach front (with private access) leading onto miles of all-but-deserted red sand beach. All of this is just 1 hour north of Halifax or 45 minutes from Halifax International Airport or about 3 hours driving time plus 2.5 hours sailing (ferry) time from Bar Harbor Maine.

* No folks this is not a typo or a misprint! A wonderful family with four children who joined us for two weeks at Shore Haven in 2003 are returning for another two weeks in 2005 as the children insisted that they had to come back to "Shore Heaven" (the kids' secret name for their favourite holiday home). In honour of these guests the cottages that share the property with Shore Haven house are called Beach Heaven Cottages.
